For serious discussion of the controversies, approaches and enigmas surrounding the origins and development of the human species and of human civilization. (NB: for more ‘out there’ posts we point you in the direction of the ‘Paranormal & Supernatural’ Message Board).

This is part of the book i am currently working on which is turning out to be too difficult to imput into the amazon self publishing system.

The model in these pages is produced from what i consider to be best evidence being

Petrie's 755.75 imperial feet at the GP
Thom's 897.60 imperial feet at SH ( using two versions of Pi
Hugh Franklin's geometrical analysis of the link between the two (using real Pi)
Jim Wakefield's work in respect of the GP and Saxon foot.
Jacob's sekhed calculation.
1.333r to the power 4 Rind Papyrus 50

The model produces variable cubit lengths using 25 and 440.

The GP has all 3 versions of Pi embedded in it's design plus two versions of the megalithic yard, the saxon foot and is based on the imperial system.

Any size of cubit can be arrived at once it is realised that 176 solar days produces a cubit of 10 units.

Jim's calc of 356.4 gives a cubit of 20.25 / 25 = 81 the denominator of Egyptian 4/3 to the power 4 calculation Rind papyrus 50.

The sekhed peoduces one version of the 4 shots at the height of the GP

The Thom Pi unit is 40.80/13 and has been engineered from the 22/7 unit used in the imperial system as 1760/560.

Thom's is 1632/520

this works with 1760/560 at Stonehenge.

22/7 at SH works with Thom's anlysis as 132/42 megalithic rods and 330/105 megalithic yards.

Thom speculated that these were interesting approximations for Pi.

He also speculated that the designers of Woodhenge worked on variable values for Pi. All pure speculation till you properly examine the evidence that Thom produced.

Thom's statistical approach was confirmed by the British Society of Statisticians which makes it less likely to be speculation and more likely to be a scientific approach based on statistical evidence.

If the designers of the GP knew the sekhed they knew the relationship between the radius 1 was a circumference of 1 x 2 x 22/7.

SH bas is 8 units / 14 x 11 = 1 x 2 x 22/7 they just expressed it their way using the more important relationship. We think 22/7 is more important because we don't know the power of the sekhed linking the circle to the square., or we didn't know until we were told. Jacob's relationship discovery is in the model re the height of the GP.

For me the most telling link is Rind 50 drilling down via Jim's analysis to 4/3 and taking the square root of this to input into Hugh's model. root 4/3 is

Root 4/3 Real Pi GP base
1.154700538 3.141592654 3.6276

if you look at the cursus it is either 3/4 or 4/3 depending on which end you start at.

It is expressed as 3960/5280 or 5280/3960

This is the root of rind 50

The Cursus is 7 units long so the circle around it will be 22 units.

This distance from the centre of the Aubrey circle to the ecntre of the lesser cursus is 7000 feet so the circle round it will be 44000 feet.
