I read your parsing back in April I think it was. Thought you summed it up very well. The log says what it does, no more no less. We could try to fill in gaps till the cows come home, but it would only be guessing. Work with what there is, look for a dike.
You said before, regarding the stone :

That's a strong possibility but for some reason isn't up for consideration. Could be it doesn't grab headlines.
As far as holes dug, I've stuck to what the papyri say. The only hole I see is one the screaming banshees dug and try to push me into.
