I have updated the design to include your theory. Jim look at where Pi as 3.125 turns up and also 3.1418181818r.

real Pi lies between both these numbers and can be hit very accurately as Engbren has shown us. I prefer 3.1416 giving 20.73456 for the cubit , 24881.47 and 36492.83 so close to Michell but closer to real Pi.

Pi approximates are the cubit /6.6 and this assumes an earth radius of 3960 miles, diameter 7920 miles ( the chain)

I have simplified Michell's canon to this at the GP.

cubit in inches x 1200 = Earth circumference in miles

cubit in inches x 1760 = GP base in inches

Earth circumference in miles x 1.4666r = GP base in inches.

Earth circumference 24000 miles = Lunar year as 24 x 14.666r = 352 days

Earth circumference 25000 miles = Solar year as 25 x 14.666r = 366.666r days

the imperial system 5280 feet is

15 x 352 Lunar = 5280

14.4 x 366.666r Solar = 5280

The framework is the 5 and 1/2 sekhed as 1760/280

20.625 as a cubit fits within Petrie's measures but 20.8333r is 20.625 / 0.99 so is a notional measure not a real one.

When the foot is changed to 0.99 of a foot the 36666.666r units is realised.

cheers

Dave

So for any cubit in inches / 6.6 for pi approx.

x 1200 for earth circ

x 1760 for GP base

The squared circle is 13.2 x 10/9 = 14.666r

132 / 22/7 = 42 This is Stonehenge in Thom's megalithic rods and the invisible square is 146.666r units ( megalithic rods of 6.8 feet)

There is no denying the designers intentions based on each lines proximity to 100.

The result of dividing the GP base in inches by its proximity to 100 will always give 366.66 and if the relevant base is x 4 it will always give 1466.666r.

the intention of the designers was to illuminate the Great Giza Pyramid with the mathematics of the eclipse, a natural base 100 system of mathematics, producing the imperial system and 22/7 quite naturally. This can be confirmed on the NASA website utilising the work of Fred Espanek (Mr Eclipse).
