The same theories abounded on these forums 20 years ago and they haven't gone anywhere since.

Indeed, the Orion Correlation Theory being a prime point in case... lost civilization hypotheses - from crustal shift to YD impact... precession... add climate... when commerce enters the front door, the ethics of science leave by the back, or is it window? - that applies equally to mainstream.

Nature does not subscribe to numerical rounding - a day on Earth (one axial rotation), a year (one orbit around the Sun) a precession cycle (one retrograde axial rotation). To manage & facilitate, requires an integral system that compensates for irregularity: The division of a circle, or sphere, into 360 degrees, 24 hours with subdivisions into minutes and subdivisions thereof in seconds of arc, with yet more subdivisions... Fundamentally crucial to realize this (not a clock) is the source of time: Earth's revolutions - respective of its size, a mean circumference measurement of 21600 'nautical' calibrations. This was established long before modern science adopted the same... It's universally applicable to a Universe filled with orbs that revolve, in one way or another.

Description of an object is essential - the basis of which being physical composition and characteristic properties. We're making good progress :-) Again, the figures to do so, do not comprise rounded numbers. Irregular as it is, scaled down however, Earth is a billiard ball. The rate at which motion repeats, is consistent, therefore a reliable and workable system - Earth has a regular rhythm. For mankind, it's all he has. The Sun owns all of it... and man is utterly dependent on it. "There is a time for everything & there is nothing new under the Sun". That's actually all there is to it. There's no evidence for the pyramids to be associated with the culture of Egypt - the fact that that they are geographically located there, is of no consequence. They are out of place artefacts in terms of archaeology and Egypt-ology.

Of course 'ancient technology was totally inadequate' - their founders had mapped the galaxy, Earth's location & orientation respective of it. (Earth only morphed from flat to round a couple of centuries ago...) The same scientific system is employed in the 21st Century. An important discrepancy: 'they' knew the obliquity parameters by which the slant of Earth's axis vary and that it drives climate. Contemporary science sez it is what you drive, that changes the climate (no dispute, we are terrible pollutors of our environment and over exploit our resources). So, either bronze age man was smarter than us - we are not smarter than 'them'... Bronzy is the wrong guy, or we need to deal with the real prospect of devolution, a paradox - the only reality is Giza...

Giza has no equal on Earth. Besides the numbers, there is also legend - the Memphite theology, pyramid texts, Book of the Dead etc. and of course, the Egyptians themselves attribute their dynastic civilization to the gods. It's only mumbo-jumbo for the uninitiated. I do hope you also read my 'stars-gods-pyramids' page its very brief but deep... (in combination of course, with the 'Earth gyration & climate' article). The astronomy aspects, manifest in ancient Egyptian 'religion', is most pure. We're a technological and media ruled society, one of disinformation - prez Trump is in agreement.

HAPPY HOUR = 2 drinks for the price of one... perhaps you'll be in agreement - that's Heaven on Earth :-D
