that may well be Jacob but as you know my calculations in the main are derived from Thom's Aubrey circle analysis and the evidence in his books is rock solid.
You keep posting the diagram with the 8 sided square and circle radius 1, it is not Egyptian but that is not a problem to me.
Divide the 1 by a unit on 0.9 and you get a square of 8.888r units without changing your diagram.
the circle round this square based on the geometry of the Aubrey circle is 8.888r x 1.111r = 9.87654321.
You are completely missing this and the implications are significant.
9.87654321 / 22 x 7 = 3.142536476 / 2.22222r = 1.41414141414r a decimal version of root 2 and very deliberate manipulation.
Your findings and mine dovetail into each other.
The designers of the GP would never have simply settled for 22/7 to base the design of the GP against, its there but the overall design is much more complex. I agree that all the calculations must comply with your rules in terms of fractions.
I'll just keep plodding on despite your disagreements hoping we don't fall out because I have learned a great deal from your postings.
Where you see 22/7 I see two more lines inside 22/7 as 3.142536476 and 22/7 x 9800/9801. Too close together to be visible to the naked eye but there numerically all the same.
