the sekhed / seqed (not sure what is the accepted spelling) demonstrates what the design of the GP is based on. The seked is a fixed ratio that can be expressed by using two variables.

28/22 56/44 and on and on.

the megalithic yard and the cubit

2.72 / 1.1717171717 = 1.584 a fixed ratio

2.75 / 1.736111r = 1.584

in inches

32.64 / 20.60606061

33 / 20.8333r

The GP is designed against fixed ratios and the units of measure are variables.

366.666r is a key number as Manu states and demonstrates that it is base 100 which it is.

It fits with 275 because this is the variable megalithic yard aligning with base 100.

If 366.666r aligns with 275 then 362.666r aligns with 272 Thom's megalithic yard.

Jim's cubit is 20.625 so the variable MY will be 20.625 x 1.584 = 32.67 inches 2.7225 feet.

this is 0.99 percent of 2.75 a base 100 number. they knew all about base 9 and 10, 99 and 100 and 275 as the megalithic yard base 100 275 units.

The problem for Hugh and myself was why 36276 inches from Petrie why not 36666.666r. But we have managed to work it out without compromising the seked at the GP and Jacob's analysis he has just posted. It is down to Hugh's analysis and Thom and the reconciliation between the two and this brings Jim's work into the whole equation as well as the canon of ancient measure.

You don't need to know Pi to analyse the basic GP design but you do to understand its complexity. But Pi is always fashioned using Jacob's techniques, the design of real Pi approximate is fractional. Dune's work also fits the megalithic yard. It is really remarkable.

Don't ask me how Hugh did it but he did.

Stonehenge is 522.72 cubits but if a foot of 0.99 inches is used this becomes 528 and 33.3333333 stonehenges (Aubrey) make the GP base in cubits.

522.72 / 0.99 = 528 / 22 x 7 = 168 = 3 x 56 Course they knew 22/7 and 22/7 x 2499/2500 = 31416/10000 ask Dune.

The imperial system works with a foot of 11.88 inches but the GP is designed against 12 inches.
