'Likewise the pyramid angle can easily be explained with astronomy available to the ancient Egyptians. The 1.27 differential comes from the two observable orbits ratio 365.25/27.5 / 365.25/35. Sideral period of the Moon and the half period of Sirius' annual vidual absence at Memphis. This half period is enshrined in mummification...35 days drying 35 wrapping. It is embedded in seven small step pyramids made before Giza 1.
Ok, it could still be wrong but you have to prove that it is and your proposal doesn't do that. '

I can accept this to a point because I have 365.25/27.5 at Stonehenge as 13149/1000 x 100/99 and also that a proof and an accepted proof are completely different. We are claiming the same basic system is used at SH and Giza and now that the fixed relationship between the unit is becoming clear the proof is becoming easier to establish though acceptance is ridiculously difficult to obtain. So we have to keep chipping away and when acceptance comes it will be from the ones doing the study because they are the only ones making the judgements. This is why your comments are so valuable.

Based on Hugh's work I can say that the cubit and the megalithic yard work as variable units within a fixed relationship and the system is being examined here not the GP or SH. The proof is outside the structures themselves. It is a unified system of measurements that covers geometry, astronomy and geodesy. To a point Michell's canon of Ancient measure appears to be it but it goes beyond the canon. Michell has the Solar day and the circumference of the Earth established but the astronomical counts eluded him, if he was looking for them. I don't know if he was.

It is the fixed relationships between the different units that can be tested and confirmed aainst exixting theories and this work is in its infancy because the relationships are only just coming to light.

I will give you the most important one for now so you can have a look at it.

It brings the megalithic yard into play within the Giza design because it aligns the variable cubit and variable meg yard because Hugh's work has uncovered the relationship and I can show how it works.

These are Hugh's units

The HFMY root 3/4 x real Pi = 2.720699046 derived geometrically a naturally occurring unit in feet

The HFC root 4/3 x real Pi /0.176 = 20.61135641 inches or 1.717613034 feet

We are using cubits, imperial feet and megalithic yards, real pi and real root 4/3 and 3/4 it is a very heady brew Hugh has put together.

What Hugh had not realised, and it took a lot of work to finally confirm it, is that the relationship between the cubit and the meg yard is a fixed one and the two units themselves are variables.

2.720699046 / 1.717613034 = 1.584 exactly and /12 = 0.132.

If you look at the structure of the two units the logic within the design is very apparent.

What has been worked out is that the modern figures being used for Pi and the roots were not necessarily know to the designers but very close approximations certainly were. This was a big stumbling point.

Because this fixed relationship is known it can be applied at Stonehenge to convert the design into cubits by multiplying the meg yards by 1.584.

330 x 1.584 = 528.This is in cubits and is the same design as the GP except that the GP is 1760 cubits

In cubits SH x 3.33333r is the Giza base regardless of the length of the cubit or the meg yard.

The proof is very simple, the unit of translation is 0.99.
