We know from Africanus and Eusebius that in dynasties 4-8 of ancient Egypt that there are at least 54 mortal kings missing from the list of kings that have come down to us. Potentially it could be as many as 150 missing mortal kings from this period. I can't be certain, of course,
There are only 54 notches in the Grand Gallery.
However, it's much more exciting to think that they may have stuffed another 150 mummies into the void. Wouldn't it? Along with a whole lot of seeds.
