There is nothing "wrong" with any opinion.
What is wrong here though is that every Egyptologist believes the pyramids were tombs (be it actual or symbolic). Why aren't they asking one another why there's no direct evidence for this? Why does every new piece of evidence get tested only against the knowledge they were tombs? Why aren't they applying modern knowledge and science to answering this question?
An opinion is "wrong" only when it impedes science or hurts people and Egyptological opinion is certainly impeding science.
Drop the assumptions and do the science.
