I like to see Physics and Astronomy coexisting so agreeably. And why shouldn't they after all. What we regard as observable cycles of the Solar system are just manifestations of the forces of Physics underlying those cycles. So whether these ancient cultures actually knew the SOL or not, is still unknown. But they sure nailed the units necessary to produce meaningful relationships to these forces such as Light and Gravity in their constructions. '
I could not agree more but was is because of the nautural relationships? I think so, and i used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure.
The figures you post above are actually an analysis of the Greater Cursus at Stonehenge. 7/4 is the giveaway, the royal unit factor expressed by the link between SH and avebury and the angle and length of the greater cursus at 90 degrees to a back bearing of 176 degrees(176/12 = 14.666r)
The cursus is 7 x 1320 feet long and convereted using 100/99 using a foot of 11.88 inches converts 9240 feet to 9333.333 x 6 to get to 56000.
The eight year cycle is in my analysis of SH and one reason is because of the Venus unit 15.84 and the 8 year retograde cycle producing the sacred analysis foun in many ancient churches.As you point out there is more than one reason.
