I was looking over your response to rodz111's post, and your input to the info he stated. Well all I can say is, 6300 Km. as a radius of the Earth is pretty shoddy, LOL! I'm not sure where he obtained that figure from, but it is at least 63 km. short of a descent radius figure. Try using what the current Meter was originally intended as an Earth Meridian Circ. value of 40,000 Km divided by Pi at 22/7 = 12,727.272 / 2 = 6,363.6363 Km. radius instead. Even using today's Meter definition which is reduced by an 1/8024th. part from the Old Meter value of 39.375 ins., doesn't make for a reduced radius of 63 Km. LOL! Not sure what else to make of the remainder of his calculations after that opening error, even if he does obtain a Ninevah Constant figure from it, doesn't make his initial mistake valid does it? And yes, the figure 7875 does come into play quite often in specific calculations, but not the one's I've seen it applied to in a rational manner.
Stephen, still sipping his 15yr. old holiday scotch at the moment, heheh!
