The column is presumed, by the hole left in the rock. Something round was cut out of the rock. You could call it a stool, or pillar, whatever. Racho is saying, why cut a round long piece when it would be sensible to cut a square chunk of rock and then finish it into a column/pillar/stool.

How the hell am I supposed to know. Google works just as well for you. Would the answers really make a difference as to why cut a round piece instead of square?

I don't care WHY the AE mummified. The AE didn't build the pyramids.

I don't consider the terracotta army to be ancient, no more than I consider Rome to be ancient. Because religion motivated Qin Shi Hung (if it did), does not mean religion motivated the pyramid builders. Anymore than it means religion motivates me.

I don't care. The AE squatters didn't build the pyramids.

Have read the entire book. Even indexed it. And it has nothing to do with the pyramid builders.

The geyser remark has nothing to do with religious motives. Don't know how you can see a connection.
Could it be, you just wanted to make fun of someone?

Dismiss religious reasons for what exactly? Building pyramids? Well that's easy, the AE didn't build the pyramids so we don't know the motives of the real builders. Pretty shallow actually, to assume it was religion based, especially when the engineering screams mechanical based.
