Not much progress in all that time.
Why don't they just drill a 1" hole in the ceiling of the GG, stick a scope up the tube like they did in the boat pit, and be done with it? After all, it's only limestone...presumably. Perhaps they're just not in any hurry to risk altering the dynamic of tourist volume while they're scrambling to get their $100 million museum up and running.
How can any of us ever know, when all we can do is think?
