I consider myself a failed hippy rather than failed beatnik or yuppy for just these reasons. I believe that war is the most destructive and gruesome force on the planet and will end as soon as the meek inherit the earth. The meek don't send off the young people to kill and die.

This is exactly why I'm here as well.
But it's impossible to become more than the sum of our parts until we establish communication and this obviously hasn't happened yet. I believe the principle reason is people who side with the status quo are not trying to understand but rather they are trying to straighten everyone else out.
Few people, other than other alts, even seem to read what alts are writing.
We ALL are talking right past one another most of the time.
> Negativity and pessimism lead nowhere.
If I were pessimistic I wouldn't keep trying to show that just maybe ancient people were knowledgeable and used this knowledge and primitive science to live, build, and understand their reality. I'd have given up long ago if I believed people were too stupid to understand and too wrapped up in their own beliefs to ignore other people.
I believe there's far more truth about the ancients right here on GHMB than on most all the other sites put together but we're still talking past one another most of the time. Just because I believe you are wrong doesn't mean I believe hippies are bad or you're wrong because of being a hippy. I believe you're wrong because you swallowed the Egyptological bait, hook, line, and sinker.
