standardized curriculum of Egyptology -- question the purpose of the Granite Plugs and Ascending Passage, or the origin of the Baalbek megaliths, or upside down igneous stairways in the Andes.
The traditionalists are obviously best fit to decree all the answers to us poor plebes. That's why the discipline is in such great shape today, eh?
