'I'm not dismissing your figures DavidK, I'm sure 897.6 is very productive. But linking all this to Thom is a bit of a stretch, for me at least, but then again who knows what thoughts he didn't feel able to present at the time?
Personally, finding streams of numbers that fit together and then claiming the ancients must have done the same thing feels a little uncomfortable to me, but like I said, who really knows? '
897.60 / 2.72 = 330 megalithic yards this is Thom's circumference of the Aubrey circle in his first book on page 47,
who really knows?
Clearly not you. 14/11 and 1632/520 are hardly streams of numbers.
In this model the difference between the GP side length and SH perimeter is 89760 inputting 5280 into the first cell of the model. The model is based on Petries measurement of the GP base at 9069 inches and Thom's SH measurement of 89760 and SH is a base 32 model and the GP is base 100 when 4 solar days are input into the first cell. This is 100/32 or 3.125. It is not difficult to follow. I am not saying the ancients did this I am saying the model works for Thom's and Petrie's findings.Thom said what the ancients wanted to do - predict eclipses by studying the motion of the moon's orbit to an astonishong level of precision and that is what i have been evidencing. They knew the saros as 6600 -14.666r since 5280 /360 = 14.666r and this is what Thom told us.
The Stonehenge part of the Model is 1 divided by 7 times 56 = 8 turning one solar day into a raction of a solar week then back to 8 solar days. This is the 1 to 8 relationship embedded in SH Aubrey. No Pi neede, no complex numbers. however Pi as 22/7 is produced by this model when 22 days are input.
The GP is one solar day x 25 to give one side of the base and 100 for the perimeter as base 10 represented the sacred or appeared to and Thom told us this as well.
The Megalithic Yard and the Saxon Yard.
5280 A Input solar days
7 B divide by 7
754.29 C to give weeks as 240 22/7 Pi units
42240 D multiply by 56 to give 8 weeks in days 56 Postholes
The Megalithic Yard and Saxon Yard
89760 F-D 33000 In Thom's megalithic yards
89760 F-D 27200 in Saxon Yards
3.125 GP to Stonehege Ratio (Fixed)
5280 E Input solar days
132000 F multiply by 25 so all 4 sides equate to 100
300 G Divide by 440 to give the variable cubit
The GP ratio is always the same and is the GP perimeter divided by the SH circumference
I'm not dismissing your figures David
get your facts right Cloister.
330/272 = 1.2132
89760 / 1.2132 = 73984 and this is 272 squared.
