To inject a quarry with natural stone?
Carving bosses while still in situ?
Possible but highly unlikely. Why the two sets of bosses one above the other?
Injection ports for living stone?
Column F has a boss at the top side. Useful for lifting?
Column E has three bosses in various stages of carving. Useful for lifting?
Column B is still being dressed. No bosses.
Yet, all columns have been lifted into place.
Do the spacers need bosses when the megaliths don't?

Why the reverse bosses? Hard to get a rope around them.
Reverse injection ports?
Two of the largest stones on the planet.
No bosses. No injection ports.
Why does the Pyramid of Menkaure require bosses on the casing stones when the blocks higher up do not? Why do the millions of blocks comprising the core of the three main pyramids have no bosses although the blocks are of equivalent size to these casing stones?
