first of all forgive me if I intervene in the question of Wikipedia, which for many and many times
I suggest to consider just the base which can give impulses to start deep researches.
I am well aware and agree with you that there are many ..... not reliable statements..... and
I can sincerly said it because knowing few current languages (Italian, French, English, Spain, Russian and
a bit of Portuges), often I saw there many DIFFERENT datations and explanations, which changes from
a Language to another.
Just for a mere example, I translated from Italian version some points which English version do not have,
and I did it just to put the pieces of examined puzzle into their place.
Also, always for istance, when I researched about Lascaux cave, I used the French version which has many and many and more details about,
And so son so on .......
Concluding I would say, of course and always IMHO, that completely discared (demonize) or completely give
a true credit (considering the truth), are both sylly attitudes which denote a non serious and true
appreciation to this "money free on line Encyclopedia".
Just, as Kristin well said, it needs to take it with ""with a grain of salt when possible""
You can not solve a problem with the same kind of thinking that you used to create it.
