I thought the Minoans came from Anatolia?
Not only Kristin, Crete has a very long story of human occupation which come back till about 130.000 years BP.
Around 8.000 / 7.000 years BP already existed Neolitic settlements, which include also agriculture,
and one of the main center was where is located nowaday Knossos.
Crete inhabitants had a long story of commerce trading since dawn of the oldest human presence there.
The Island was the major Mediterranean center of commerce, during flows of many millennia.
So Minoans, of course IMHO, are just a product of a long period of people mixing, due to millennia of
commercial exchanges which, close to Minoas 1st period, evidence a continous bipolar commerce with A.E.
You can not solve a problem with the same kind of thinking that you used to create it.
