I tend to agree.
How about we consider both that the air shaft was intentionally designed and used as a water conduit AND alternatively the staining that we see is the result of the natural and non designed ingress of water.
On average Egypt receives a couple of cm of rainfall every year.
However, very occasionally Egypt does receive torrential rainfall.
The KC shafts have been exposed to the outside elements for at least 1000 years or so.
The pyramid face is a large catchment area.
