Perhaps, yes. I admit trying to flesh out my response ... wanted to cover the bases. :)

Yes. Agreed.

It would be impossible to build such structures without a system of measure(s).

On a side note, the cubit would predate the seked, and remember, the seked is more of a concept of rise/run than it is a principle. For example, not every pyramid has the same seked ratio. The seked, as you know, is a way of expressing a value of run to a rise of one cubit.

In any event, I would apply your question on cubits/sekeds to Old Kingdom pyramids in general, not just the Great Pyramid ... surely the Step, Red, Bent, Khafre, Menkaure, Meidum, etc are no slouching little piles of rock. Have you studied their seked values as well? Done a comparison study?

I can see how pyramid design would not be far removed from the employment of the cubit system. Is this the gist of your topic?

Regards,
Avry

ps. In your comparison of the 22:220 | digit:cubit, I might suggest a viewpoint of the 220 representing the lateral radius of the base as opposed to half the side length. In this way you can better visualize a physical right triangle used in checking layer consistency during construction.
