I really don't have much to add to this, I just wanted to preserve that pearl. However, a few corrections are in order:

[list]1. I knew of Pregnant Woman since I was a child. I did NOT know of the Sanctuary, Temple of Jupiter, or Trilithon until more recently. I learned about that block from my father who was a gentleman and scholar and happened to be interested in various mysteries of ancient civilizations around the world. So you're wrong about Howdy Dooty and Addams Family. You're also wrong about any claim you seem to think I made about being any kind of expert about Baalbek.

2. Regarding your infantile "African boobs" paragraph, your flaming Freudian slip is showing.

3. Before the excavations ensued around Pregnant Woman, it wasn't clear to me whether that block was unfinished, still attached to bedrock, a sole block that was a mistake, etc. After I read about the excavation, I realized there were other blocks peaking out from the surface in that same field as well as other blocks under PW which made it clear to me that not only was PW a separate block, it also wasn't the largest block either since there is a 2000 ton block under it. Also, the excavation made clear that there appears to have been a mud-rock slide that engulfed those blocks, that we don't know how deep it is since it's not clear that the excavation has hit bedrock yet, and that PW and the other long blocks may actually have once stood erect, but the mud-rock flow might have knocked them over such that they are now lying parallel to each other. A couple of blocks that are still standing seem to have had their upper half broken off; it boggles the mind trying to imagine what force that could have been.

4. I said "many of us" but of course, true to form, you morph that into "[i][u]most[/u][/i] of us" so that you can then attempt to insult me on the basis of the figment of your own imagination. [/list]
