Hi Racho

Quote'I truly think (and think I can safely say via same different vids) that it was way high tech. Power saws, softened rock -either through chemical means or sonic frequencies- and massive projects halted mid-construction.

I will read anything and consider anything. However for me the most likely senerio is that technology used has never been recorded. There are some clues take your reference to power saws.

This is a snippet of a poem written around the 4th century AD. Ausonius writes about the river Moselle. Here he was speaking about the river Erubius he says.

"He, turning the millstones with rapid, whirling motion,
And drawing the screetching saws through the smooth white stone,
Listens to an endless uproar from each of his banks."

He is using a power saw but one turned by water and a mill stone. It is a great subject and after getting back from Rarotonga last week have a beauty to consider. Yes and I do believe as T bird does that people were larger in stature not that long ago.
