The sources I read claimed Thuban would be within 1 degree of true celestial north around 2800 BC, perhaps even tighter than Polaris. I can see how the angle would be wider in 2500 BC, but the fact is the passage angle is not set to be the latitude angle. Not even close, compared to the accuracy the builders were known to have regarding cardinal point alignment, passage straightness precision, etc. So any such star correlation strikes me as an attempt at forcing a square peg into a round hole. At least according to the traditional 3rd millennium provenance of those pyramids, or even any hypothesis that has the provenance of those pyramids within such a traditionally narrow range of time.
It seems to me that if those entrance passage angles were designed to align with the north star at the time of their construction, then the relatively broad spectrum of passage angles among those pyramids suggests they were built much farther apart in time than orthodoxy would have us believe.

"Completely irrelevant"? Says who? How do you know "what matters" and what doesn't? Why doesn't it matter that they're bent? Why bend them at all? Why would they need to be bent if they merely were intended to point to certain stars? The fact is, they surely were deliberately placed where we find them today, and they are indeed deliberately bent, several times. So I wouldn't be so quick to criticize Thanos for not considering all the evidence here.
How can any of us ever know, when all we can do is think?
