Sorry guys but im still waiting for the Golf course to go back on their summer greens.
But in the meantime ,
Take Petries measurements of the Grand Gallery, with a very small adjustment of no more than a 0.5" addition.
lso while im here, over the years there's been so much rubbish written about where those so called air shafts are pointing to.Its claimed by many authors who just keep repeating the same old WRONG idea that they point to specific stars, and therefore gives them their evidence for a specific time some 8,000 years previous for the inception for the plan of the Great pyramid, and so it seems this forced alignment has almost become accepted as fact, by author after author being too lazy to check out the actual geometry of those shafts, if they did they would have to come up with some other reason for the shafts projected lines.
Here's a short clip from one author who see's the Truth in all of the rubbish written about the so called "Star Alignment theory"
From this article [www.ancient-origins.net]
Anyway, as readers can see, there is a huge disconnect between the astronomical dates derived for Giza. We appear to have the Giza plateau being designed in 10,500 BC, but some of the pyramids not being built for another 8,000 years. Clearly something is wrong with the theory here, and that something is the star-shaft pointing theory, which is wrong with a capital 'W'. Or should that be: wrong with a capital 'B'? And we know this bold assertion is true, because the small shafts inside the Great Pyramid have a completely different function. They were not designed to point at stars.
Back to me.
Diagram by Maragiogli showing the exact exit points of the shafts out through the North side and disproving the "star alignment theory".
Now ive shown this diagram below a few times before, more recently in my BIG thread "Was Giza built from a Super Geometric Plan", and i bothered to do a massive drawing based on a scale of 1" per pixel, and using Gantenbrinks findings for where these shaft exit the CASING of the pyramids North side, it then allowed me to back project the shafts path to where in the Kings and Queens chambers these shafts begin their upward journey to the outside, discounting the the part where the shafts do a slight detour to avoid the Grand Gallery.
So when one projects a line from these shafts all the way out to where the cross over intersection is, you then realise the level is exactly the same level as the pyramids height, so one can only logically deduce that the designer is telling you that their is some overriding importance to this specific height, and of course ive previously shown that the Great pyramids height is based numerically on the square root of 3 that is close to 1.73208 / 3 = 0.57736 x 10,000 = 5773.6 / 20.62" = 280 cubits.
So lets put the record straight, The shafts have nothing to do with star alignments, the Great Pyramid should be read by what the Geometry is telling us.
Its not just me who has bothered to work out the real path of those shafts.
Take a look at John Legons work, he has come to a similar conclusion [www.legon.demon.co.uk]
That's the beauty of the Great pyramid, its message is math based , and as far as i know, 2+2 still = 4
