The Pyramid Texts and the evidence are in agreement; they used linear funiculars.
They used the "two boats tied together" which went "to and fro" and were overseen by the "harmonious goddesses". The ropes were the "sinews of the Bull of Heaven" which "inverted its horn" so that the "dead king could separate from the royal apron (pavement)". It was the boat used "by the bridge girderers of the desert" which "flew up and alit". The boats hung from the "dm-sceptres of the sky" and the henu boat was filled at the "windows of heaven" with the I33.t-sceptre by kebehwet.
The boat climbed the "five fingers of geb (earth)" which is shown in the gravimretric scan as a five step pyramid.
It's all stated quite clearly in the Pyramid Texts but people can't see it because they think the builders were stinky footed bumpkins who never meant anything literally.
They clearly said they used a linear funicular powered by a carbonated aquifer captured by a process called khenti irty in the mehet weret cow which ccontained the upper and lower eyes of horus.
Men sat in the shade sipping "effervescent water like wine" and watched the gods build the pyramid.
I don't know what they used on the causeway because that isn't mentioned and the evidence is inconclusive.

Now that is amazing... I'm sitting here designing exactly that. For me to get the stones up on the Pyramid, I needed to downsize the Barge/Funicular so it could be lifted, along with the stones, while they remain in place atop, ie. from quarry to on top. To do so, required me to tie two of them side by side, and fit the 10 ft. Causeway.
>" and the henu boat was filled at the "windows of heaven" That is also interesting...
There are unfinished parts to this proposal.
This is one skid, holding one block and being lifted on a funicular/barge that is 1/2 of a complete unit. The upside is, the skid stays in place all the way until this location.
The downside is, it will increase my build rate for a one stone every 3 min. There will likely need to be more than just one lift station per side of the Pyramid. I need to do the math.
These two are about to be un-tied, so the lift can take 1/2 of the Funicular unit. The lift sinks deeper into the water. The water is always at a constant 5' high. 5' is all that is required to float stones around the perimeter. The shot needs some decking in it. Think of the video, care to take a ride. It is almost as steep. I will show more in a few days.
This all becomes animated...
